Tati

Instructor

Tati discovered the power of Pilates during grad school, when the stress and constant deadlines left her searching for a space to focus on herself. She quickly realized that Pilates offered not just physical benefits—improved posture, reduced tension, and fewer migraines—but also mental clarity. This experience inspired her to become an instructor and create the same supportive and empowering space for others.

Before teaching Pilates, Tati worked in mental wellness and educational research, creating programs that supported mental health and equity. Her background naturally led her to focus on physical health, and she began her Pilates journey with a Reformer-only certification. After a year of teaching, she pursued a comprehensive certification and joined Power4 Pilates, deepening her understanding of Pilates as a complete system.

Tati’s teaching style is encouraging and intentional, with a focus on fundamentals such as breath, core connection, control, and opposition. She loves teaching flow classes that leave clients feeling stronger, more connected to their bodies, and confident in themselves. She also excels in private sessions, tailoring each workout to individual goals, injuries, or limitations, and building trusting relationships that help clients progress safely and effectively.

Originally from Southern California, Tati enjoys exploring matcha shops in her free time. Her advice to aspiring instructors: be open to the learning process and embrace the challenge of Teacher Training. With dedication, curiosity, and patience, the knowledge gained in Pilates extends far beyond the studio—into everyday movement and life.
