Sophia
Instructor
Sophia is an undergraduate student at Texas Christian University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in psychology and minor in child development. When she’s not in class or teaching Pilates, she is working in the Memory, Metacognition, and Aging lab at TCU. Her knowledge and passion for psychology can be seen through her school work, research, and even in her Pilates teaching style. Her ultimate goal in life is to help people–physically and mentally!
Sophia’s Pilates journey started back in 2023 where she took 1- 2 classes a week while being home for summer. Sophia officially became a part of the Power4 team in 2024 when she worked as a Member Specialist and then signed up for the Teacher Training program during her very first shift!
Her decision to become a Pilates instructor has provided her with the tools to blend her passion for psychology with health and wellness. Her hope is that she can help people achieve their goals, strengthen their mind-body connection, and boost confidence levels. She finds that Pilates challenges her each class, fostering an enhanced concentration and sense of control that she proudly carries with her throughout the day.
Fun fact! Sophia loves traveling, and she is also always down for a coffee run!
