Katarina's professional journey began in New York City after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising & Retail Marketing from the business school of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where she played field hockey for four years. While working full time in the corporate world post-grad, she immersed herself in everything the city had to offer—networking, taking on freelance work, events such as New York Fashion Week, and exploring the fast-paced world of Manhattan.

During this time her passion for movement grew while trying out boutique workout classes across the city. This alongside her dedication to long-distance running, led her to complete the New York City and Berlin Marathon which felt like bucket list moments.

After relocating to California with her husband in 2020, Katarina initially pursued her 500 hour Pilates certification with the intention of teaching part-time alongside her other career, but she quickly recognized the career potential within the Pilates industry after working closely with Jennifer. She initially transitioned into a full-time instructor role for several years and taught group classes and private sessions. But as Power4 was ramping up to open, her eyes widened to the other facets of the industry where she hoped to see her career go. She wanted to learn what it takes to run a business and she moved into the operations, sales, and management side, and progressed from Executive Assistant to Assistant General Manager February 2023. While continuing to grow her business acumen, finding her leadership style, and working closely alongside the studio owner, in Fall 2024 she was promoted to General Manager in Training which now has led her to becoming the General Manager of Los Gatos as of April 2025. 

Katarina loves to travel and takes every opportunity to explore new places. Whether it's a quick day trip or a far-off destination when not working, she enjoys the adventure of discovering new places.

At home, she and her husband often spend their time seeking out new coffee shops, restaurants, and wineries to try—always on the lookout for hidden gems. Katarina has a love for home decor and personal style, always finding joy in creating cozy spaces and adding a touch of creativity to everything from interiors to fashion. And on sunny days, you’ll likely find her outdoors with her two toy poodles, Bubbles and Grizzly!
